Making bears is my hobby.
Professionally, I used to be a nurse, now being retired.
Ten years ago, my daughter wanted to make a teddy bear like
in former days, out of nice material, filled with wood-wool, with joints of split pens (those materials are still used today)
and the result for us was very nice. I soon got the trick of it, and started making bears myself. I attended courses
in Holland and in Belgium at famous bear makers. Now I visit fairs in Belgium, Germany and Great Britain.
- New models are designed by my husband.
- To make the bears, I use mohair from different countries.
- They're filled with wood-wool and cotton.
- And finished with leather and daim.
- As you can see and read, I only use the best materials.
